Amazingly, our kitchen renovation is complete! Thank you to all of the carpenters, electricians, plumbers, painters and draught technicians that have been working feverishly for the last 3-4 months! We had originally hoped to reopen April 21, but we are pushing our Grand Reopening back to Wednesday, April 26, to give Chef Matt and his crew the time that they need to prep and practice. We’ll be returning to our normal menu when we open for lunch at 11:30am on the 26th, and Snake Mountain Bluegrass will be playing that evening at 5:30pm to keep things festive!
Chef Matt has updated our lunch and dinner menus for spring. You’ll see the return of many of your old favorites, plus some tasty new additions, such as: an Asparagus Panzenella Salad, an Artichoke and Spinach Risotto, Beef Tartar, locally-foraged fiddleheads and ramps, and a new home-baked bread program (which we’re very excited about!). We will be ‘reopening’ with our normal menu for lunch on Wednesday, April 26.
In the meantime, our new 24-beer draught tower should be flowing by Friday! Beal has assembled an all-star list of craft (mostly VT) brews to kick things off! So, while we may need to wait a few more days for the return of our normal menu, we will have plenty of beer to help keep things festive this weekend! And, Holmes will be giving tours of our new kitchen this Friday night, for anyone who is interested. Just pop in.
Lastly, if you’ve loved the pizza that we’ve been serving in the interim, don’t despair – as soon as the kitchen is done we will begin transforming the Lounge into a full service restaurant, which will feature the Neapolitan-style pizza that has garnered rave reviews the last few months. More details to follow…!
